The OP-Z is an advanced, fully portable 16-track sequencer and synthesizer, with a range of sample and synth-based sounds, letting you sequence music, visuals, lights and more.

Portable Performances

The accelerometer activated microphone turns on and records when the OP-Z is lifted, allowing you to add your own vocal effects to your set, wherever you go.

Easy Controls

The four color-coded endless dials control the parameters of OP-Z. Instantly adjust the parameters, filters, effects, and levels. Plus, the RGB LED indicators give you instant feedback of values and functions triggered.

Mobile Compatibility

When paired and connected to a Mac, iPad, iPhone, or Android smartphone, the mobile device will act as a screen for OP-Z. Use the OP-Z app to activate Photomatic Mode and create music videos.

Photomatic Mode

Snap a series of photos on your phone and sequence them to a beat using the OP-Z. The Photomatic Mode on the OP-Z app can add up to 10 sequences with 24 pictures each and perfectly sync them with your beats.

Portable Live Set Controls

Prepare your live visuals in the comfort of your home studio. Then bring just your OP-Z and iOS device to the gig venue. You can plug your iPhone or iPad into the projector and instantly see your animations.

Unity Integration

OP-Z’s VideoLab feature works with the unity game engine. Visit teenage engineering’s GitHub to export a videopak and drop it in the OP-Z app. You can sync your OP-Z music with any motion graphics.

Play Game Scenes with OP-Z

Pair your OP-Z unit with the OP-Z application and navigate to the motion tab in the app. Download and select a Mega Man or Street Fighter videopak. You can perform a perfect K.O! by using the dials on the OP-Z. The OP-Z is fully compatible with these Capcom cult classic games.

Expansion Modules (Sold Separately):

Simple Setup

The OP-Z was built with the intention of attaching modules. Easily insert your module to the back of the OP-Z and get tons of additional functions like connecting the OP-Z to other instruments or letting you feel the beat.

Line Module

The line module lets you use external audio signals, send audio from tracks out, and make FX loops with your effect pedals. You can also switch between mono and stereo signals with the line inserted into your OP-Z.

Oplab Module

oplab allows you to have the power and flexibility of the OP-Z available to any other music equipment. Once mounted to your OP-Z, use it to connect to other musical equipment using standard CV and gate.

Rumble Module

The rumble expansion module is a built-in haptic subwoofer. It uses high-definition vibrotactile feedback and psychoacoustic technology, which lets you feel your music.
