This necklace is made in 3 different carats: K9, K14, K18. Higher Karats means higher composition in Solid Gold and this is how it goes: 9K means 375/1000 = 37.5% Pure Gold, 14K means 585/1000 = 58.5% Pure Gold, 18K means 750/1000 = 75% Pure Gold. The price is affected by the Karat scale as the jewelry gets heavier due to the specific gravity of gold. Also in Yellow Gold and Rose Gold as well, higher purity in Gold results in more vivid color.
