Ensure strings are wrapped correctly on the pegs to increase friction and prevent slipping. Push the pegs in while turning to secure them better. Additionally, use a peg compound (peg dope) to further increase friction to keep the pegs in place.

Is the fine tuner and tail piece supposed to move ?

The fine tuner and tailpiece on a violin can move, but they should stay stable while playing. The fine tuner is used to adjust the pitch of the strings slightly by turning it. The tailpiece connects the fine tuners to the strings.
